The International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław, Poland was founded in 2001 by the Association for Building Integrated Logistic Center in Wrocław.

The main reason for founding such an establishment resulted from the observed shortage of higher education vocational institutions that would educate future logistics specialists or forwarders. At the same time the labour market reported a great demand for such specialists. The mission of the MWSLiT is to educate future managers able to run modern logistic processes and open to challenges of integrated Europe.

The School sees the fulfillment of the mission in the proper selection of the best tuition programs, the employment of an professional and experienced teaching staff and the wider cooperation with companies and institutions.

Thanks to cooperation with our key partner – ESIDEC group of schools from Metz, France – the tuition program of the School provides comprehensive knowledge and qualifications in the field of broadly understood logistics, transport and forwarding. The international profile of the School as well as relations with foreign partners allow us to run “open education” by means of guest lectures of both Polish and international Academics. Such lectures complement the tuition program of the School and allow students raise awareness and confront their ideas about the profession with reality.

Our partners include Wrocław University of Technology, Wrocław University of Economics, ESIDEC group of schools from Metz/France, Dresden Logistics Centre, Polish National Association of Road Transport Employers, Polish Logistic Association, 3PL GEFCO Polska, and German Business Education Centre EuroConsulting.

Establishment of the International School of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw, together with a French university ESIDEC, was awarded the French Prime Minister ‘s Jean-Pierre Raffarin prize .The prize is given to international projects developed together with French entrepreneurs. In 2003 there were five international projects awarded the prize (out of 92 that entered) but ours was the only one awarded in the field of education. On November 10th 2003 the creation of the International School of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław was awarded the first prize. Since 2005 the School is annually rewarded with the certificate of “Trustworthy School” by the Academic Information Centre for the best education offer.

In the prestigious ranking of independent higher education institutions in 2009 the MWSLiT was awarded 3^rd place amongst the Higher Education Institutions in Wrocław, and 4^th in the Lower Silesia region..

The International  School of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw is a private higher vocational school (non-academic), entered in the register of private higher education institutions, private college associations, led by Minister of Science and Higher Education under the number "206".

Annually 500 students enroll to Bachelor’s studies and 300 students enrol l to Master’s studies.
